Kristin Thielemann, born in Hamburg / northern Germany, is a professional trumpet player, music pedagogue and author for Schott Music. During her studies she was playing with orchestras like Deutsche Oper Berlin and Munich Philharmonic.


Since 10 years she is publishing sheet music, books and is writing articles for music and pedagogic magazines.


She is often asked to be a jury member at music competitions for students in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. As a lecturer she speaks to music pedagogues and parents.


Kristins books, articles and sheet music are well-known in the german-speaking music pedagogues community. 


Her podcast MOTIVATION MUSIKPAEDAGOGIK (together with Max Gaertner) is the most famous broadcast about music pedagogic during the corona crisis and had more than 15000 streams in its first four weeks.

She studied at Musikhochschule Luebeck and holds diplomas in music pedagogic and orchestral music. Her further education was about elementary music, body percussion and children`s development. Scholarships from Richard-Wagner-Associaion and Music Philharmonic Orchestra.
