Flexible articulation and legato playing with a well-developed dynamic range are required for pieces that are longer than those in the preceding volumes, a nice example being a Louis-Armstrong-Style gospel piece.

MY FIRST CONCERT (TRUMPET / PIANO)
The 26 easy concert pieces covering 5 centuries of musical styles are especially arranged for young trumpet players with 1-2 years of playing experience. Many of these pieces are often played in european music competitions for the youth.
All the pieces are on the enclosed CD being played by Matthias Kowalczyk (Principal Trumpet of the Frankfurt Opera) and accompanied by the pianist Maria Ollikainen. Here you will also find the piano accompaniment without the solo part.
